MADAGASCAR MOVIE REVIEW

Madagascar is directed by Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath it features the voices of Ben Stiller,Chris Rock,David Schwimmer,Jada Pinkett Smith and Sacha Baron Cohen. The plot of the movie is at the central park zoo Marty the zebra is celebrating his tenth birthday with his friends Alex the lion,Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippopotamus.  Marty longs to get out of the zoo and see the world. That night he escapes and his friends find him at Grand central station. Then the animals are shipped to the Kenyan wildlife Preserve. During their travels the crates containing Alex,Marty, Melman and Gloria fall off the boat and wash up on Madagascar.   The animation is great, the voice acting is very good and the characters are all very funny especially the penguins. King Julien and his servants are also very funny. I think kids and adults will have a good time watching this movie.  5 out of 5 stars for Madagascar. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN

Snow White and the Huntsman is directed by Rupert Sanders and stars Kristen Stewart,Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.  The plot of the movie is The Evil Queen wants Snow White's heart so she can have eternal youth so she sends a Huntsman to kill her.   Snow white and the Huntsman is a very good movie. Charlize Theron plays a fantastic villain and Chris Hemsworth is great as the Huntsman and as for Kristen Stewart she looks like she's having fun and she actually shows emotion  unlike in Twilight were all she does is mope around the whole time.   The film is directed very well for a first time director.  The sets and costumes  look great  The visual effects look real and I loved the climax of this films.   5 out of 5 stars for Snow White and the Huntsman. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.

THE AVENGERS MOVIE REVIEW

The Avengers is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey JR,Chris Evans,Mark Ruffalo,Chris Hemsworth,Scarlett Johnson,Jeremy Renner,Tom Hiddleson and Samuel L Jackson. The Avengers brings together everyone from the lead up films.  Going into the movie if you haven't seen the previous films you'll be able to fallow the story but if you want to Know the Characters back stories than you should.   It shows how these different characters don't want to work together at first but eventually they have to start working as a team.  This movie is directed by Joss Whedon I have not seen anything else he has done but after seeing what a good job he did with this movie I will watch every thing he does.  The acting is very good and the characters are all likable. The action is some of the best I've seen all year the visual effects look great and  the movie is very funny.   5 out of 5 stars for The Avengers. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.

THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE REVIEW

The Hunger Games is directed by Gary Ross and Stars Jennifer Lawrence,Josh Hutcherson,Liam Hemsworth,Woody Harrelson,Elizabeth Banks,Lenny Kravitz,Stanly Tucci and Donald Sutherland. The plot of the movie is sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen lives in district 12 which is very poor. Every year there is an annual event called The Hunger Games which is put on by the capital.  Every year two kids one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 are selected from each of the 12 districts to compete. On the day of the reaping Katniss volunteers to take her sisters place in the games.   I was really looking forward to the movie and I thought it was a great adaptation of the book.  Jennifer Lawrence is great as Katniss she makes her character very likable. Josh Hutcherson was great as Peeta also Liam Hemsworth was good as Gale we get to see more of him in this movie than we do in the book.  Woody Harrelson is amazing as Haymitch in the book I hated him but he's a lot more likable in the movie.   Gary Ross directs the movie very well everything looked like I thought it would also he made the build up to the games more enjoyable than it was in the book. The games were well done also however because the movie is rated PG-13 you don't see a lot of the gore. I get why they went PG-13 but I would have rather it been rated R however that's a small complained.   So overall I was very happy with the movie.  5 out of 5 stars for The Hunger Games.   I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
